An Board from the ranks of the IZEA Directorate supports the Executive Director in her operative work.
Currently, the board of the IZEA consists of three persons: besides the Executive Director Prof. Dr. Elisabeth Décultot, Dr. Frank Grunert and Prof. Dr. Weidner belong to the board. The board was established after the revision of the statutes confirmed by the rectorate in January 2022.
The IZEA is housed within the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. As an institution of advanced study on the cultural and intellectual history of the 18th century, the IZEA contends with a period that laid the foundations of modern western society.
